Baidu

Baidu is a Chinese multinational technology company specializing in Internet-related services, products, and artificial intelligence (AI). It was founded in 2000 by Robin Li and Eric Xu. The company’s most significant product is Baidu Search, the leading search engine in China, similar to Google in the United States.

The company’s search platform is heavily integrated with its other services, which include Baidu Baike (an online encyclopedia), Baidu Wangpan (a cloud storage service), Baidu Tieba (a keyword-based discussion forum), and more.

Baidu has also invested significantly in AI and machine learning, establishing an AI lab dedicated to research and development. They have developed autonomous vehicles and voice recognition technology, among other innovations.

As of my knowledge cutoff in September 2021, Baidu remains one of the largest internet companies in China and worldwide.
